Objective
Main objectives for this course are acquiring knowledge in robot safety issues and solutions. Studying in this course require knowledge in fundamentals of technology. This course enables further studies of the subject in other courses.
EUR-ACE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Student identifies the key risks of a robotics application and understands how to prepare for them. Student is able to do risk assessment using simple working methods and relate to machine safety issues seriously.

Approved (S): Student understands and recognizes the hazards associated with robotics. Student is able to use some risk assessment method to assess the magnitude of a risk. Student is familiar with safety device technology and can assess its suitability for the target.
