Objective

You will gain a basic knowledge of the aspects of electric power technology and become more deeply acquainted with the calculation of connected 3-phase circuits. Studying in this course requires basic knowledge of electrical engineering and you need these studies e.g. in other courses in this module.

EUR-ACE ENGINEERING PRACTICE
You know the basic calculation of connected 3-phase circuits and are well acquainted with different concepts of power. You understand the effect of reactive power and harmonics in an electric power system. You know how the basic quantities of an electric power system are measured. You also know the measurements related to the quality of electricity. You can use mathematical methods and tools to describe phenomena in the field and solve problems.
