Objective

Purpose
When you order something at online shop, which kind of actions it causes? Does it ecologically matter whether you choose same day or next day delivery? Why aren't there products in the shops sometimes? For these questions and many others will be answered on the World of Logistics course.

By completing this course, you will know what logistics is and how it is linked to different kind of companies and organizations. You will also understand trends of logistics and understand its impact to the future of logistics. You will also understand circular economy as the part of the logistics. Teaching methods

Implementation is primarily for distance learning students in logistics. It includes lectures, online learning assignments, and an exam. The first assignment of the course must be done within three weeks of the first few days. Those who fail to complete the assignment will be removed from the course.

Student workload

One credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of work, which means that the load of five credits is approximately 135 hours. The load is distributed in different ways depending on the course implementation.
