Objective

After completing the course, you will be able to express yourself with your main instrument in a natural, high-quality and stylish way, taking into account the instrument-specific requirements. You can realistically assess the level of your instrument expertise and understand the importance of maintaining and developing it continuously. You have the ability for continuous learning with your main instrument. In cooperation with your teacher, you will be able to choose repertoire that corresponds to your technical level and is suitable for you and optimal for your development. In collaboration with your teacher, you set goals that are relevant to your instrument expertise. You will understand the importance of the right training methods for your development and will train appropriately under the guidance of your teacher. You will be able to work flexibly in different ensembles and you will also take responsibility for learning in a group. You know how to organize and share a stream on a streaming platform. You are able to record, share and edit video with a mobile device.You understand the importance of ergonomics and hearing care and use them in your work. You know how to plan, prepare, organize and market a concert.

In this course, you will study the technical skills of your main instrument, knowledge of music style periods and genres, as well as repertoire, sheet music reading, musical creativity and interpretation, performance, ensemble playing and digital skills. Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Passable 1:
You have sufficient control over the most important technical basics of your main instrument. Sound quality, tonal purity, and control of rhythm and tempo are largely deficient. Your playing is musically modest, there is a lot to develop in style and overall expression. The will to interpret and the characters of the music do not convey. You know how to adequately assess your skills, and you have poor ability to continuously learn your main instrument. The knowledge and skills related to the course are poorly controlled by you. You take little responsibility for your learning and self-development. You will sufficiently survive the execution of your concert.

Satisfactory 2:
You have satisfactory control of the main technical basics of your main instrument. Sound quality, tonal purity, and control of rhythm and tempo are deficient in many places. Your playing is musically correct, but there is still a lot to develop in terms of style, overall expression and interpretation. The characters of the music are not fully conveyed. You will be able to evaluate your skills satisfactorily and you will have a reasonable capacity for continuous learning of your main instrument. You have some control over the knowledge and skills related to the course. You take quite a bit of responsibility for your learning and self-development. You will satisfactorily cope with the execution of your concert.

Good 3:
You have a good command of the most important technical basics of your main instrument. The sound quality, the purity of the tones and the control of the rhythm and tempo are pretty well controlled. Your playing shows musicality, striving for good handling of rhythm and tempo, and interpretation in style. There is still room for improvement in the overall expression. The characters of the music are conveyed. In your work, you can see work-oriented and professional purposefulness. You know how to evaluate your skills well, and you have good capabilities to continuously learn your main instrument. You have good control over the knowledge and skills related to the course. You take responsibility for your learning and self-development. You know how to plan, organize and market your concert.

Commendable 4:
You are adept at mastering the most important technical basics of your main instrument. Sound quality, tonal purity, and rhythm and tempo control are well controlled. Your playing shows musicality, good handling of rhythm and tempo, and a stylish interpretation. The characters of the songs convey admirably. Your work is work-oriented and professionally goal-oriented. You know how to evaluate your skills well, and you have a commendable ability to continuously learn your main instrument. The knowledge and skills related to the course are commendably under your control. You take responsibility for your learning and self-development. You know how to plan, organize and market your concert.

You have excellent control over the most important technical basics of your main instrument. The sound quality, the purity of the tones and the control of the rhythm and tempo are very well controlled. Your playing shows musicality, very good handling of rhythm and tempo, and a convincing, stylistic interpretation. The characters of the music convey excellently. Your work is work-oriented and convincingly professionally goal-oriented. You know how to evaluate your skills well, and you have an excellent ability to learn your main instrument continuously. The knowledge and skills related to the course are in excellent control. You take responsibility for your learning and self-development exemplarily. You can independently plan, organize and market your concert.
