Content scheduling

During the course, theme-specific introductions, independent and group study will alternate.
Additionally, personal learning assignments will be completed throughout the duration of the course.

Attendees will be checked within three weeks of the start of the implementation, and securing a study place on the course requires approved completion of the orientation assignment.

Objective

The object of the course
Managerial work involves a wide range of situations in which the manager must be able to engage the personnel and facilitate the development of operations using a variety of methods. This course provides capabilities for such situations.

You understand the diversity of individuals and how different people are taken into account in managerial work and in the management of teams. You understand the methods and tools of coaching management and their significance and role in the management of individuals and teams. Although the course is in daytime offering, the implementation is such that it can be completed by part-time students as well.

Learning is guided both personally and in groups during the course.

Exam schedules

There is no exam in the course.
Learning assignments must be completed and returned during the course in accordance with the course timetable.
Group discussions must be attended to during the course in accordance with the course timetable.

The personal final assignment must be returned in December 2024.

The retake of the personal final assignment is possible on 14th of February 2025 and 14th of March 2025.

You are capable of using the methods and tools of coaching management and understand their significance and role in the management of individuals and teams. You are capable of using digital applications in a variety of individual and group situations.

Good 3
You understand the diversity of individuals and are capable of comparing the impact of diversity on leadership in managerial work and in the management of teams. You are capable of utilising the methods of coaching management in a variety of situations. You are capable of selecting digital applications appropriately in a variety of management situations.

Very good 4
You are capable of comparing and analysing the diversity of individuals and organising teams. You are capable of prioritising different methods of coaching management, taking different situations and individuals into account. You are capable of selecting a digital application appropriately in a variety of management situations.

You are capable of evaluate critically and develop work, actions and personnel in a target-oriented manner. You are capable of choosing a suitable method of coaching management and justify your choice in a variety of situations. You are capable of also using digital tools in the management of virtual teams.
