Objective

Olet perehtynyt rytmimusiikin yhtyesoitinten perusteiden keskeisiin opetusmenetelmiin sekä opetusmateriaaleihin ja kykenet kehittämään ja soveltamaan niitä. Sinulla on perusvalmiudet opettamiseen ja opettajan työhön. Osaat toimia erilaisten bändiryhmien ohjaajana ja pystyt tuottamaan ryhmiin soveltuvaa opetusmateriaalia. Hahmotat ryhmädynamiikan perusilmiöitä ja osaat hyödyntää omia persoonallisia ja musiikillisia vahvuuksiasi bändiryhmän ohjaajana. Olet perehtynyt oppimisen ohjaukseen ja arviointiin käytännön opetustyössä sekä osaat toimia työyhteisössä. Osaat arvioida omaa ja toisten osaamista rakentavasti ja realistisesti. Osaat tuottaa oppimateriaalia verkko-oppimisympäristöön.

Osaamiset: Oppimisen ja tiedonhallinnan osaaminen, musiikin luovan tuottamisen osaaminen, oppimisen ohjaamisen osaaminen.

Content

Opintojaksolla perehdyt rytmimusiikin eri kokoonpanoille ja eri tyylisuunnille sovitettuun materiaaliin ja harjoittelet niiden kehittämistä ja soveltamista käytännön opetustilanteisiin. Tutustut ryhmädynamiikan ja yhteissoiton perusteisiin ja opettelet tyypillisten yhtyeopetustilanteiden suunnittelua, toteuttamista ja hallintaa opettajan ammattietiikkaa noudattaen. Tuotat oppimateriaalia verkko-oppimisympäristöön, sekä tutustut saatavilla oleviin tarkoituksenmukaisiin digitaalisiin bändiopetussovelluksiin. Seuraat ja vertaisarvioit muiden opiskelijoiden opetusharjoittelua.

Location and time

The seminars are carried out as online lessons in Zoom, 10 x 90 min. The first time, the seminar times will be agreed upon.

Materials

Literature related to group dynamics, learning- and teaching material related to the basics of playing in a band, the basics of the broad and general curriculum of the basic studies of basic art education in terms of playing in an ensemble.

The ensemble conducting training related to the study course takes place at the educational institutions of JAMK´s partners.

Student workload

Ohjaavan opettajan tunnit 10h, seminaarit 20h, opetusharjoittelun seuraaminen ja vertaisarviointi 25h, itsenäinen työskentely 50-75h, portfoliotyöskentely 5h.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The students participate actively in lesson planning and following. They complete the lesson auditing and assignments required. They are well acquainted with the main teaching methods in ensemble and teaching materials and are able to apply them. They possess the basic readiness for teaching work. They are able to evaluate their own and their students' practical teaching and make use of portfolio as teaching support. They are also capable of evaluating the theaching of others constructively and realistically.

Qualifications

The students are well acquainted with the principles of pop/jazz and understand diverse concepts relatedd to the learning of music. They understand the meaning of teaching planning as the basis of teaching.
