Teaching methods

The working methods of the course include independent study of theory based on the course materials, interactive webinars (online teaching), group work and an independent assignment.

In the webinars (e-learning), you will learn about the basics of social policy and the social service system and about social protection in the rehabilitation period through lectures, discussions, expert lectures and small group work.
You will also familiarise yourself with the concepts of social protection by completing an online assignment in Moodle. In the group assignment, you will search for, describe and present information on the different forms of support provided by social insurance and social security during rehabilitation.

The webinars will create the conditions and basis for group work. It is therefore important that you participate in each webinar. There will also be time for group work in the webinars. In groups, each member is a responsible actor, so you should contribute equally to your group and be an active member of your group, also during independent work.

In the webinars you will receive guidance and support for your work and progress on the course. If necessary, you can also communicate with your teachers via the Moodle discussion area.
