Opintojakson kesto on 20 viikkoa ja se koostuu viidestä eri aihepiiristä. Opintojakson alussa sinulla on aikaa suunnitella opintoja ja tutustua materiaaleihin sekä ottaa yhteyttä opettajaan, jos sinulla on kysyttävää. Opintojakson lopussa sinulla on aikaa kertaamiselle ja tenttiin valmistautumiselle.

Voit suorittaa opintojakson Moodlessa annetun suositusaikataulun mukaisesti tai joustavasti omassa tahdissasi.

Objective

In the course you will revise the basics of Swedish. The course will help you pass your compulsory Swedish studies.

After completing this course, you will be able to communicate understandably in Swedish in familiar situations, both orally and in writing. You will gain command of basic vocabulary and grammar and know how to apply them in different communication situations. You will understand Swedish texts that are related to familiar topics. You will be able to write and talk about everyday topics.

Content

You will study themes related to free time and working life. You will revise the basic structures and vocabulary of Swedish and practice using them in oral and written communication. You will read and write texts in Swedish related to free time and working life and practice oral communication in everyday situations.

Opintojakso suoritetaan 2.1.2024 – 23.5.2024 välillä itsenäisesti verkko-opintoina.

Teaching methods

Opiskelet opintojaksolla itsenäisesti oman aikataulusi mukaan Moodlen materiaalien avulla. Opintojakson toteutus perustuu monipuolisiin materiaaleihin ja tehtäviin, joita hyödynnät oppimisesi tueksi. Voit valita tehtävät omien tarpeittesi lähtökohdista.

Opintojakson aikana voit olla yhteydessä opettajaan, mikäli tarvitset tukea tehtävien tekemiseen tai opiskelutekniikkaan tai sinulla on muuta kysyttävää. Palauttamistasi tehtävistä saat yksilöllisen palautteen.

Exam schedules

Opintojakson arviointi perustuu joko EXAM-studiotenttiin, jonka voit suorittaa sinulle sopivana ajankohtana, tai webinaarissa tehtävään tenttiin, jonka ajat on ilmoitettu Moodlessa.

Hylätyn tentin voit uusia tutkintosäännön mukaisesti kaksi (2) kertaa.

Opintojakson laajuus on 5 op (135 h).

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Approved
You are able to communicate understandably both orally and in writing in familiar situations. You understand clear speech and writing with familiar content. You have a reasonable command of the basic structures of the language. Your vocabulary is sufficient for everyday situations. The level of your pronunciation is sufficient for the delivery of content.

Failed
Your performance does not meet the criteria for passing the course.

Qualifications

You know the basics of Swedish, but your language skills are below Level B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR, https://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/sites/default/files/cefr-en.pd f).
