Objective
After completing the course, you will be able to work flexibly in different ensembles and take responsibility for learning in a group as well. You work equally and tolerantly in the group and you promote a safe working atmosphere.
You have a good command of your instrument and its role as part of a band, orchestra or other ensemble, and you are able to perform in different roles as part of a group. You are able to listen to other players/singers and you know how to adapt to different practice and performance situations. You know how to practice goal-oriented and you are able to evaluate your progress. You consider the audience when practicing and performing.
You know how to notate the phenomena relevant to the music to be performed. You understand history, stylistic periods and theoretical phenomena relevant to the ensemble music you are practicing and performing, and you apply your knowledge fluently when working in different ensembles and in different contexts.
You are able to use music streaming services as part of your studies, and you know how to record, edit and share audio with a mobile recorder. You know how to assemble the appropriate PA system and use it, depending on the style of music and the ensemble you are performing in. You understand the importance of ergonomics and hearing care.
You know how to market a performance or concert in appropriate channels to reach the audience.
Content
In the course you will study broadly the range of ensemble musicianship, focusing on performing in an ensemble, the technical skills of your instrument, knowledge of musical styles and genres, repertoire, playing from sheet music, chord symbols and by ear, and interpretation and performance.

Approved:
You are able to work in different musical ensembles and take responsibility for learning also in a group. You act in an equal and tolerant way, fostering a safe atmosphere.
You express yourself on your instrument naturally with your current technical and musical skills and recognize the level of your expertise. You bring your skills to the group in a way that supports the group. You are also able to take the audience into account in a performance situation.
You understand the stylistic musical elements and phenomena of your instrument and of your work as part of an ensemble, and you are able to use these skills when planning, rehearsing and performing ensemble repertoire.
You are able to use of music streaming services and mobile audio recording where appropriate. You know how to assemble the appropriate PA system and use it, depending on the style of music and the ensemble you are performing in. You take into account ergonomics and hearing care.
You also have the ability to market your concert in appropriate channels to reach the audience.
