Objective
The object of the course
The object of the course is to provide the student with sufficient mathematical skills for completing BBA studies.
Business competence
The student knows the central theories related to this specialisation option. The student possess at least an advanced beginner’s skills in the practical tasks of the specialisation option.
The learning objectives of the course
The student can mathematically analyse, formulate and resolve a problem of his area of study and he can evaluate the validity of the result and present the solution within the context of the original problem.
Content
Tools and techniques for mathematics
Accuracy of calculation
Evaluating the validity of the answer and presenting it.
Using functions and graphs.
Calculations with powers and logarithms.

Materials
The learning material includes instructional videos and exercises that are shared via Moodle.
Teaching methods
Students study independently using instructional videos and exercises. The is also a workshop once a month, where it is possible to get help with the exercises.
Employer connections
There is no practical training or working life cooperation during the course.
Exam schedules
There are 4 exams during the year in October, December, March and May. More detailed exam times will be announced in the Moodle learning environment.
