The meetings will take place as per the timetable. Course assignments will be split between collaborative meetings based on the schedule provided in Moodle.
Objective
The object of the course
The course gives you tools for your studies. You will learn how to search for high-quality information from a wide variety of information sources. You will learn to use these sources in various learning tasks. After the course, you will be able to apply Jamk's reporting guidelines and follow the ethical principles in reporting.

Online implementation
Flipped learning, workshops
After studying the materials of the workspace, the student completes the related assignments and receives guidance.
Online teaching. Completion of the course requires participation in workshops and completion of assignments.
The course starts with independent learning in March 2025. After that is the workshop for information seeking, in which you must be present, if you intend to start the course. Teaching according to the timetable.
The learning environment is Moodle.
Exam schedules
The course commences with a library section, encompassing the study of materials, information retrieval, and assignments. The reporting segment involves the completion of four tasks by the student.

A passing grade for the course implies that you understand the basic principles in information seeking and academic reporting, and you know how to apply them.
