The aim of the course is to examine the legal aspects of service production and administration through up-to-date legislation in different contexts.

Content
The main content of the course includes the legal framework governing client work and service production in welfare areas, purchaser-provider model, good administrative practice and specific legal issues related to client work from both the purchaser's and the producer's perspectives. The rights and equality of the client are also examined, as well as the implementation of legal safeguards from both the client's and the worker's point of view.

Assessment is on a scale of 0-5 and based on assessment criteria. The grade will be determined on the basis of the final learning task covering the whole course. The contact hours (face-to-face and webinars) must be attended or replaced by a substitute assignment requested by the teacher. The pre-course and learning assignments required for the course (grades y/y) must be passed before the final assessment.
