The meetings will take place as per the timetable. Course assignments will be split between collaborative meetings based on the schedule provided in Moodle.

Objective

The object of the course
The course gives you tools for your studies. You will learn how to search for high-quality information from a wide variety of information sources. You will learn to use these sources in various learning tasks. After the course, you will be able to apply Jamk's reporting guidelines and follow the ethical principles in reporting.

Teaching methods

Online implementation

Flipped learning, workshops.

After studying the materials of the workspace, the student completes the related assignments and receives guidance.

Completion of the course requires participation in workshops and completion of assignments.

The learning platform utilized is the Moodle workspace, which will be accessible no later than the course commencement. Workshops will be conducted via Zoom, with the link to be provided on Moodle. Participating in the webinars requires a working camera, headphones and microphone.

Teaching starts 29.1.2025 and ends in week 13. You must be present for the first time if you intend to start the course. Teaching according to the timetable.

Exam schedules

The course commences with a library section, encompassing the study of materials, information retrieval, and assignments. The reporting segment involves the completion of four tasks by the student.

Task submission times and renewal times are displayed in the workspace.
