Tehtävien järjestyksen mukaan aihealuekohtaisesti.

Kurssitoteutus aloitetaan tekstinkäsittelyllä, jonka tehtävät tulee olla tehtynä korkeakoulun syyslomaviikkoon mennessä. Tämän jälkeen opiskelija voi tehdä loput aihealueet (taulukkolaskenta, esitysgrafiikka, teoria) oman aikataulunsa mukaisesti opintojakson toteutuksen aikataulun puitteissa.

Objective

After completing the study module, you will be able to:
Use the IT tools required for studying and the educational institution's IT environment to support your learning.
Understand the basic principles and possibilities of online collaboration.
Identify your own IT skills and the areas where they need improvement.
Apply O365 applications to create various documents, reports, and visual presentations, as well as to make charts and calculations, while considering accessibility and copyright.
Recognize the basic concepts of information security and understand the fundamental rights and responsibilities related to data protection, taking into account the specific characteristics of your field.
Manage the basics of AI and the ethical and juridical issues concerning the use of AI

Teaching methods

The course uses the web pedagogy methods (guidance webinars and independent working in Moodle workspace containing the self study materials with tasks and assignments) as a learning and teaching methods.

Guidance webinars are short learning occasions where the course progress is checked.

The course is evaluated as Pass/Fail.

The course is timed for weeks 36 to 51.

The course must be completed within the academic year starting from the beginning of the course.

Completion alternatives

Voit hakea hyväksilukua (opintojakson korvaamista) aiemmilla vastaavilla korkeakoulu-opinnoilla todistusten tai opintorekisteriotteen perusteella. Korvaaminen edellyttää opintojen sisällöllistä vastaavuutta (EQF-taso 6).

Hyväksilukeminen tehdään oman korkeakoulusi Pepissä.

Hyväksilukua voit hakea vain kokonaisesta opintojaksosta. Ole yhteydessä oman korkeakoulusi opettajatutoriin. Hyväksilukeminen edellyttää ohjauskeskustelun käymistä ja se tehdään ennen opintojakson aloittamista. Ohjeet hakemuksen tekemiseen Pepissä löydät oman korkeakoulusi ohjeista.

Student workload

Opintojakson työmäärä on 135 tuntia, joka koostuu
ohjauswebinaareista (3 x 0,5 h = 1,5 h)
itsenäisestä työskentelystä (133,5 h) (opetusvideoihin perehtymistä, harjoitustehtävien tekemistä, tehtäväpalautusten mahdollisia korjauksia).

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

To achieve an approved performance, you must demonstrate that you have mastered basic IT skills at the level required for studies and working life. You will also have the skills to develop your own IT skills. You recognize and can use the teamwork and online communication tools provided by the organization.

Your competence will be evaluated based on the assignments to be returned.

Opintojakso on osa Jamkin, Oamkin ja Savonian yhteistä verkkotutkintoa, joka toteutetaan ristiinopiskelun periaatteilla.

Opintojakson arviointi perustuu annettujen tehtävien hyväksytysti suorittamiseen. Jos saat tehtävästä hylätyn arvioinnin, sinua pyydetään tekemään tehtävä uudelleen. Arviointi kirjataan yhden kuukauden kuluttua suorituksen päättymisestä.
