Objective

Understanding the basics of safety engineering is essential part of engineers competences and skills. During Safety engineering course you will learn the ablility to integrate the principles of interference-free operation and prevention of damage into technological and organisational solutions as well as engineering work and techniques.

Investigation and information retrieval:
You are able to study and apply safety technology and risk management methods.

Engineering practice:
You are able to apply safety technology to solve practical problems through established risk management methods.

Multidisciplinary competences:
You understand the importance of safety in organizations as a part of responsible activity.

Basic knowledge of occupational safety, information on the management of safety risks, i.e. work environment, environmental and other risks, and application of the information.

You are able to complete the risk analysis and safety tasks of the course, but you have shortcomings in the management of the more challenging methods.
