Teaching methods

At the beginning of the course, you will try out the method used to assess work capacity. You will use the self-assessment tool developed by the Institute of Occupational Health to assess your own competence and set your own personal learning objectives. If you wish, you can make use of guidance in setting and assessing your objectives.

The learning diary will help you to deepen your understanding of the subject area you are studying, to practice reflective thinking and to expand the knowledge base you have built up in a previous course. During the course, you will carry out an independent assignment in which you will reflect on ways to strengthen client orientation and multidisciplinary cooperation.

You will prepare for the webinars by means of pre-assignments. There will be pre-assignments for each of the 4 webinars. The webinars will focus on creating sustainable rehabilitation and employment solutions, addressing multidisciplinary service needs and different forms of work capacity support. The webinars will focus on interactive sessions.

The course will use elements of collaborative learning, emphasising open and varied interaction, responsibility for one's own and others' learning, knowledge sharing and reflection on learning. Discussions will aim to create dialogue and bring out the voice of each participant. You will be able to practise your interaction skills in a guided and collaborative learning environment. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the themes of the course at any time and receive answers from a variety of perspectives.

Employer connections

The independent task can be carried out in your own work or in an apprenticeship, if it is central to the employability support services.

During the course, you will hear the perspectives of experts working in the field of disability support services. You will prepare for the visits by getting to know the services they represent. You will think in advance about questions to ask the guest that will contribute to your learning objectives.

Exam schedules

The course does not include an exam.

The assessed assignments (learning diary and independent study) are designed to be completed evenly throughout the course. Assignments will be returned at the end of the course. If necessary, it will be possible to complete the assignments in retakes, the exact dates of which can be found in the moodle workspace.
