Objective

You can use the instrument both to accompany your singing and as an accompaniment instrument in group singing and playing situations. You can learn songs on the instrument from sheet music and by ear and harmonize melodies yourself. You recognize the importance of assessing your instrumental skills and the continual maintenance and improvement of those skills, and you possess the readiness for lifelong learning. In collaboration with your teacher, you can find suitable and optimal software for your level of technical skill and personal development.

Content

During the course, you aim to deepen your instrumental skills. You will study playing techniques, sheet music reading, prima vista, stylistically appropriate accompaniment methods both by ear and with chord symbols, melody harmonization, and improvisation.

Approved:
You are able to use the instrument naturally to accompany your own singing and in group playing situations. You have the ability to learn songs and find accompaniment for them, both from sheet music and by ear. You are capable of harmonizing melodies independently. You recognize the level of your instrumental proficiency and understand the importance of its continuous maintenance and development. You actively participate in collaboration with the teacher, seeking suitable software to support your progress. You show readiness for continuous learning and systematic improvement of your skills. You can independently discover and utilize learning resources that aid in selecting and applying material aligned with your technical level.
