Objective
The students know the basics of the locomotor system and kinesiology. They can apply their knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology to be able to observe and assess the body movement of their own and others' bodies during activity. The students understand how to use this knowledge in consultation.
The students know the basics of neurophychology so that they can exploit their knowledge in the implementation of client-based occupational therapy and in consultation
Content
Basics of locomotor system anatomy, kinesiology and neuropsychology in theory. Observation and examinination of normal movement both through one's own body and by observing others. Combining information gained by observing with functional anatomy, kinesiology and neuropsychology and applying them to client-based occupational therapy.
Examples of ccupational therapy assessment and intervention with clients who have neurpsychology problems.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students have basic knowledge about locomotor system and kinesiology. They can apply their knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology to be able to observe and assess the body movement of their own and others' bodies during activity. The students know the meaning of this knowledge in occupational therapy intervention and consultation.
The students know the basics of neurophychology and it´s meaning to the planning and implementation of client-based occupational therapy. The students can explain how physical movement and neuropsychology together are behind human activity and how individual characteristics influence movement and activity.
Failed
The student does not achieve the competences described above.
