Objective

The students understand the significance of the course areas of physics in practical applications and they can make and solve the magnitude equations related to the problems. In addition, they understand the significance of error analysis when they combine their laboratory measurements with the theory they have learned and when they prepare a report on their observations according to given instructions.

Content

Hydrostatic pressure, the Archimedean principle, buoyancy, surface tension, the capillary phenomenon, flow dynamics, viscosity, quantity of heat, thermal expansion, equation of state of ideal gas, thermal capacity of solids, liquids and gases, changes of state, and air humidity
