Objective

The student masters the basic concepts, structure, services and operating principle of Windows server operating systems. The student is able to configure and maintain a server as well as design a server system for an SME (small and medium-sized enterprise). Additionally, the student recognizes the potential of Windows server operating system as a platform for network services.

Excellent 5: The student knows how to use and maintain Windows server operating system in a versatile and challenging server environment. The student is able to citically validate existing solutions. The student is able to design and implement a challenging server system for an SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) based on the requirement specification. Additionally, the student is able to validate critically the outcome of their own implementation and justify its further development

Very good 4: The student is able to use and maintain Windows server operating system in a versatile server environment and is able to analyze existing solutions. The student is able to design and implement a server system for an SME based on the given requirement specification. Additionally, the student is able to validate the outcome of their own implementation and development extensively.

Good 3: The student is able to use and maintain a Windows server operating system in a versatile server environment and is able to analyze extensively existing solutions. The student is able to design and implement a simple server operating system for an SME based on the requirement specification. Additionally, the student is able to analyze the outcome of their implementation in a versatile manner.

Satisfactory 2: The student knows the basic use and maintenance tasks of a Windows server operating system. The student is able to apply into practice and implement a simple server operating system for an SME.

Sufficient 1: The student knows the basics and maintenance tasks of a Windows operating system in outline. The student is able to analyze simple existing solutions superficially. The student is able to design and implement a simple server operating system for an SME.
