Objective

The student has a command of essential terminology related to project work and is able to compile a project plan for an interactive web application containing rich media, project status review and final documents (see Course contents) related to the project. The student is able to act in their own role in the project group and understands the copyright related to rich media content. The student understands the potential of web application as a unifying factor for various media and learns to design and implement an interactive web application.

Group project where following items are assessed: project work (50 %) and result (50 %), seminar presentations, status reviews, self-assessment and assessment discussion, final documents (see Course Contents).

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Sufficient 1: The student knows the basics of project work and the documentation related to it. The student as a member of a team is able to design and implement a part of an interactive web application utilizing rich media in a limited way; however, there are great problems in commitment to project work and the results are restricted.

Satisfactory 2: The student knows the basics of project work and the documentation related to it. The student is able to design and implement as a member of a team a part of an interactive web application utilizing rich media in a limited way; however, there are problems in the project work and the results are restricted.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good 3: The student masters project work and the documentation related to it. The student is able to design and implement as a member of a team a part of an interactive web application utilizing rich media.

Very good 4: The student masters responsible project work and the high-quality documentation related to it. The student is able to design and implement as a team member a part of a stylish interactive web application utilizing rich media.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent 5: The student masters responsible project work and the high-quality documentation related to it (See Course Contents). The student is as a member of a team able to design and implement creatively a stylish interactive part of a web application (visuality, technical functionality and usability have been considered) utilizing the possibilities of rich media versatilely.
