Objective
The student understands the significance of software design and testing as part of software development process.
The student knows the methods and description languages used commonly in software industry.
The student is able to participate in requirement specification work and produce the needed test cases based on the requirement specification.
Content
During the course the student is acquainted with software requirement definition process, service design and necessary UML models.
The emphasis is on combining modern service design and traditional requirement specification work.
During the course each student produces a personal course assignment based on a customer’s requirement specification and an acceptance test plan.
