• recognize the basic theoretical concepts and values as well as distinctive and applied nature of social counselling

Excellent (5) The students are able
• to plan a formal concept analysis in factual connection to multi-disciplinary premises
• compare the basic theoretical concepts and their relations to each other
• generalize chosen theoretical concepts to the competencies needed in social work
• compare social and educational theoretical frameworks to each other and find commonalities and differences in them
• draw conclusions about the meaning of theoretical concepts in individual, communal and societal levels
• know how to create written paper following the guidelines of Jamk.

Very Good (4) The students are able to
• to plan a formal concept analysis in factual connection to multi-disciplinary premises
• to justify the basic theoretical concepts and their relations to each other
• to evaluate chosen theoretical concepts to the competencies needed in social work
• to interpret social and educational theoretical frameworks to each other and find commonalities and differences in them
