Objective

You begin to acquaint yourself with the Russian language and culture. By the end of the course, you are familiar with Russian culture and you know how to conduct yourself accordingly. You are able to assess the possibilities offered by Russia’s neighboring markets from the perspective of your own field. You can cope with simple communication situations in Russian.

The course prepares and equips you to act and work in an international and multicultural environment.

Content

Knowledge of the characteristics of Russian culture in normal everyday work-life interaction situations

Communication and interaction situations, Russian culture (including food culture, customer service culture), Russian standard of living, working and leisure time and factors contributing to these, Russia as a land of opportunity

Grammar, including the Russian alphabet, pronunciation, getting to know others, greetings, courtesy

Passed
Active participation in the contact lessons. Approved completion of all portfolio subtasks. All portfolio tasks are described in the first contact lesson.
