Objective

The student understands the field of corporate responsibility and it’s meaning to the societal development and successful business. The student is familiar with the different components of responsibility. The student is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility. The student is able to recognize the meaning of stakeholders in corporate responsibility. She/he can promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1 (Sufficient) The student attempts to demonstrate his/her theoretical and conceptual knowledge. Command of the subject area remains unclear. The group project planning and implementation has been only partly student-led. The group requires extensive supervision concerning many basic issues. The student fails to show a convincing ability to promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.

2 (Satisfactory) The student shows theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the subject at a reasonably clear level. The student demonstrates rather good understanding of different levels of corporate responsibility. She/he is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility. The student shows rather good knowledge of the meaning of stakeholders in corporate responsibility. The student has an obvious overall command and understanding of the subject area but fails to show a convincing ability to promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.

4 (Very Good) The student shows great theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the subject area in detail. The student demonstrates very good understanding of different levels of corporate responsibility. She/he is able to analyze companies’ actions from the viewpoint of corporate responsibility. The student shows great knowledge of the meaning of stakeholders in corporate responsibility. She/he can promote and develop responsible and ethical business in real-life situations.
