Objective
The student is familiarized with the user interface of Blender 2.8+ and can create optimized content for different platforms. The student is able to utilize different modeling techniques and styles to achieve visually appealing results.
Content
• Overview of mesh modeling and terminology
• Introduction to Blender and its UI
• Hard Surface Modeling and Sculpting
• UV unwrapping and basic texturing
• Rigging and Weight painting
Teaching methods
Online learning. In this implementation there is also a small group (max 15) students studying full-time in class-room. Theory (daily) will be broadcasted live using Zoom. The feed is also recorded and disseminated through Moodle LMS.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Satisfactory (1-2): The student has basic knowledge of the terminology and can create functional assets.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Good (3-4): The student is familiar with the terminology and essentials of the course. The sudent can create more complex models and textures. The student demonstrates adequate knowledge in modeling and can apply it in practise.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Excellent (5): The student masters the terminology and understands the techical requirements for three-dimensional models. The student can create aesthetically pleasing and highly optimized assets. The student has advanced knowledge in different modeling techniques and can apply it in practise.
