Objective

The student understands the different methods in teaching and directing musical theatre.
The student is able to create, teach and analyze dancing and make choreography. The student understands what is the meaning of dance and body expression in the integration of arts. The student is able to direct minor musical theatre scenes.

Content

The target of teaching and directing musical theatre, teaching material and teaching methods.
Handling the basic situations involved in teaching and directing.
Teaching and directing different learners.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass (S): The student knows the basic teaching and directing methods used in musical theatre. The student handles the materials used in teaching and directing musical theatre and knows how to apply them in teaching and directing musical theatre. The student has the basic skills in teaching and directing musical theatre. He/she is able to evaluate his/her own skills as a teacher and director, and is also able to evaluate the work of the others.

Fail (0): The student fails the course if he/she is unable to meet the minimal requirements established for course completion.
