Objective
After completing the course, you will be able to express yourself naturally with your main instrument, taking into account the level-specific requirements of the instrument. You recognise the level of your instrument skills and the importance of its continuous maintenance and development, as well as your own ability to continuous learning with your main instrument. You play the chosen repertoire striving for style. In cooperation with your teacher, you find repertoire appropriate to your technical level and suitable for your development and set appropriate goals for your instrument skills. You understand the importance of finding the right training methods for your development and you will train appropriately under the guidance of your teacher. You know how to practice prima vista skills with appropriate exercises for the development of your instrument skills.
You are able to record, edit and share audio and video with a mobile recorder. You know how to use and utilise accompaniment and transcription applications to support your instrumental studies. You understand the importance of ergonomics and hearing care. If needed, you know how to assemble the appropriate PA system and use it.
Content
In the course, you will study the technical skills of your main instrument, knowledge of musical periods and genres as well as repertoire, music reading and prima vista skills, musical creativity and interpretation, performance and digital skills.

Approved:
You express yourself naturally with your main instrument with your current technical and musical skills and identify your level of expertise. You have the ability to continuously learn with your main instrument and you recognise the importance of continuously maintaining and developing instrument expertise. You can outline stylish musical elements and play the repertoire you practice in pursuit of style. In collaboration with your teacher, you choose the appropriate repertoire for your technical level and your personal development and set appropriate goals for your instrumental skills. You understand the importance of prima vista skills and choose appropriate exercises to develop them. You know how to record, edit and share audio and video on a mobile recorder. You are able to use and utilise accompaniment and transcription applications to support your instrumental studies. You are able to assemble and use appropriate PA system, if needed. You understand the basics of ergonomics and hearing care and use them in your work.
