Objective
Student has knowledge of promoting family health in different stages of life, recognizing and considering variety within families. Student is able to plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based culturally sensitive family nursing care. Student is able to apply the knowledge of sexual- and reproductive health in family nursing. Student understands the effect of community on an individual and family, and is able to assess environmental risks in the community.

Qualifications
Student masters the basic knowledge and interventions of health promotion, preventive nursing and public health nursing. Student is familiar with the stages of human growth and development (physical, psychosocial and cognitive)and human life span.
