Purpose of the course

In this course you will learn the basics of vaccination competence.

Outcomes
After completing this course, you understand the importance of vaccination and the ethical principles of the individual, the community and society.
You understand the importance of vaccination worldwide as a health-promoting activity.
You will have the capacity for evidence-based guidance and counseling on vaccinations.
You are be familiar with the vaccine preventable diseases, the national vaccination program and the adverse effects of vaccinations.
You can aseptically and safely vaccinate under supervision

Location and time

Tämä toteutus on tarkoitettu vain ryhmien SAR21SM Sairaanhoitaja (AMK) ja SAR21K1 Sairaanhoitaja (AMK) opiskelijoille

SAR21SM ryhmällä opintojakso toteutuu seuraavasti:
Opintojaksoinfo ma 9.5.22 klo 12.15 livenä
Laboraatiot ma 6.6.2022 klo 8.00-11.15 (4 pienryhmää, ryhmäjako tehdään opintojaksoinfon yhteydessä)

SAR21K1 ryhmällä opintojakso toteutuu seuraavasti:
Opintojaksoinfo ma 9.5.22 klo 13.30-14.15 Zoomissa
Opiskelijat voivat palauttaa opintojaksoon kuuluvan rokotusportfolion kesällä Metropolian Moodleen, jossa opiskelu tapahtuu, mutta verkkotentti on mahdollista tehdä joko 17.6.2022 klo 23.00 mennessä tai sitten vaihtoehtoisesti elokuussa 15.-21.8.2022. Rokotuslaboraatiot toteutuvat syksyllä 2022 Perhehoitotyön moduulin muiden laboraatioiden yhteydessä.

E-learning in Metropolia´s Moodle: independent studying of the material, course portfolio, pop up- and reclection tasks, online test and vaccination training

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Approved completion requires the completion of a course in National Vaccine Knowledge in accordance with separate criteria developed by the implementer.
