Objective
The students understand the basic calculation of coupled three-phase circuits, and they know the various power concepts. They understand the effect of reactive power and harmonics on an electric power system. They know how to measure the basic quantities of an electric power system. They also know the measurements related to the quality of supply. They have a basic understanding of the various areas of electrical power engineering.
TSAST – Electrotechnical and other basic competence
The student is able to apply mathematical methods and tools to describe the phenomena of the field and to solve problems.
YHTVI – Communication skills
The student is able to communicate well, both orally and in writing in their mother tongue.
EA-KN: Knowledge and understanding
The student has a systematic understanding of the key aspects and concepts of their branch of engineering.
