Objective

The student masters the most essential fields of corporate server network management, measuring and analysis from information security point of view. In addition, the student masters the design principles of wide server network with the aforementioned features and is able to design and implement a server network based on requirement definition taking into account restrictions and information security.

Excellent 5: The student masters the measurement and analysis methods used in corporate server network taking into account data security, and is able to retrieve information on their implementation in practice evaluating the source material critically. In addition, the student is able to assess critically their implementation and written documentation.

Very good 4: The student knows the measurement and analysis methods used in corporate server network taking into account data security. The student is able to independently retrieve and assess information on their implementation in practice taking into account the source material. In addition, the student is able to assess their implementation and written documentation.

Good 3: The student knows the measurement and analysis methods used in corporate server network and is able to retrieve information and estimate ways of its implementation at a practical level taking into account the source material. The student is able to analyze the data security in server networks. In addition, the student is able to assess their implementation and written documentation.

Satisfactory 2: The student knows the measurement and analysis methods used in corporate server network in outline and is able with assistance to retrieve information on ways to implement them at practical level taking into account the source material. Hyvä 3: Opiskelija osaa yrityksen palvelinverkossa käytettävät mittaus- ja analysointi menetelmät. Hän osaa hakea tietoa ja arvioida niiden toteuttamistapoja käytännön tasolle huomioiden lähdemateriaalin. Opiskelija osaa analysoida palvelinverkkojen tietoturvan. Lisäksi opiskelija osaa arvioida tekemäänsä toteutusta ja kirjallista dokumentointia.

The student must have passed the professional studies in their specialization option in order to participate in this course. The prerequisites needed are IT service management theory and practices, knowledge and practical skills of various network technologies and server operating systems and their practices.
