The object of the course

Räätälöity toteutus 2 op lähiopetuksena.

Opintojakson tarkoitus
Opintojaksolla hankit valmiudet suunnitella ja toteuttaa työelämän kehittämisprojektin (tapahtuman suunnitelma) yhdessä opiskelijaryhmän kanssa. Sovellat InnoFlash –opintojaksolla hankkimaasi osaamista (asiakaslähtöiset innovointi-, suunnittelu- ja ratkaisumenetelmät, yrittäjämäinen työote) projektin suunnittelussa.
Osaamistavoite:
Opintojakson suoritettuasi osaat projektoida työelämän kehittämishaasteen ja toimia projektissa. Toimit vastuullisesti ja asiakaslähtöisesti monimuotoisessa projektiryhmässä ja verkostossa. Edistät vuorovaikutuksellasi ja oman asiantuntijuutesi jakamisella työelämän kehittämisprojektin ratkaisua. Sovellat innovaatio- ja projektitoiminnan menetelmiä osana kehittämistyötä.

1. The student starts his studies by selecting the assignment you want to work on in Moodle. Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience -applications must be handled before the selection of the assignment.
2. After selecting an assignment, the student joins the assignment-specific Moodle workspace by self-registration and joins the project group.

Between joint meetings, the student groups work under student leadership and meet with coaches according to the assigned schedule.

Sustainable development 2 cr

3 cr FF Project planning:

This part of the couse is implemented flexibly as online studies and distance learning. Studies include independent study and teamwork. The course utilizes digital and interactive tools. The student group agrees on how to implement teamwork. Group guidance supports task performance.
During the course, you plan a small-scale project related to the development needs of working life in the student team. Project planning proceeds in stages. During the stages, you will independently study the theory related to project activities, share your sectoral expertise and your sustainable development expertise in the student team. You use design support tools at different stages of the design work. As a result of the phased work, a project plan is created, which you present together with your student team.

5 cr Project implementation:

Competence assessment is based on reflection (incl. Reflection on one's own activities, peer feedback, possible working life and feedback from the supervisor)
You will be able to justify the stages of project implementation and evaluate the tools and methods you use in the project and their suitability for solving the development challenge of working life.
You will be able to critically reflect on your project work, your own activities, your own role and define the next steps in developing your project skills. (self-assessment and feedback discussion, peer feedback, feedback from potential working life and mentor)
The client will be provided with the usable output (s) of the project as group work.

2 cr Sustainable development:

This course is intended ONLY for students of the University of Jyväskylä and Gradia. Jamk's students can register for the ZZPP0920-3021 implementation.

Schedule:
- Independent study 30.1.-12.2 (A and B)
- KickOff event on 13 February 2023 from 13:00 to 16:00 (the location will be announced separately in the assignment-specific Moodle workspace)
- C-phase start info 6 March 2023 from 13:00 to 16:00 (the location will be announced separately in the assignment-specific Moodle workspace)
- Final seminar of project studies 15 May 2023 from 12 to 16 (the location will be announced separately in the assignment-specific Moodle workspace)

All students completing FF project studies 10 ECTS in spring 2023 are enrolled for this course implementation.

1. The student starts his studies on 30.1. by selecting the assignment you want to work on in Moodle. There are assignments in both Finnish and English, from which the student can freely choose the assignment that interests him.
2. After selecting an assignment, the student joins the assignment-specific Moodle workspace by self-registration (course key: project23) and joins the project group.

During the stages, you will independently study the theory related to project activities, share your sectoral expertise and your sustainable development expertise in the student team. You use design support tools at different stages of the design work. As a result of the phased work, a project plan is created, which you present together with your student team.

The following students enroll for this course:
- All FF project studies 10 ECTS students who work on project studies between 30 January and 17 December 2023 (e.g. Construction Technology)
- Students working on their own project
- Students work on projects that take place in varying time windows

If you complete the project studies as a whole during spring 2023, register for implementation ZZPP0920-3021.

Note! This implementation has projects that take place in different time windows during the year, so please choose your own assignment taking into account the working time of each project assignment!

Students implementing their own projects: Your own project assignment must be approved before starting work. Contact the teacher responsible for project studies (marika.puttonen@jamk.fi).

Work like this:
1. The student starts his studies on 30.1. by selecting the assignment you want to work on in Moodle. There are assignments in both Finnish and English, from which the student can freely choose the assignment that interests him.
2. After selecting an assignment, the student joins the assignment-specific Moodle workspace by self-registration (course key: project23) and joins the project group.

Opintojaksolla hankit valmiudet suunnitella ja toteuttaa työelämän kehittämisprojektin (tapahtuman suunnitelma) yhdessä opiskelijaryhmän kanssa. Sovellat InnoFlash –opintojaksolla hankkimaasi osaamista (asiakaslähtöiset innovointi-, suunnittelu- ja ratkaisumenetelmät, yrittäjämäinen työote) projektin suunnittelussa.

During the course, you plan a small-scale project related to the development needs of working life in the student team. Project planning proceeds in stages. During the stages, you will independently study the theory related to project activities, share your sectoral expertise and your sustainable development expertise in the student team. You use design support tools at different stages of the design work. As a result of the phased work, a project plan is created, which you present together with your student team.

Opintojakso toteutetaan joustavasti verkko-opintoina. Opinnot sisältävä itsenäistä opiskelua ja tiimissä tapahtuvaa työskentelyä. Osaat kriittisesti reflektoida projektityöskentelyänne, omaa toimintaa, omaa roolia ja määritellä projektiosaamisesi kehittämisen tulevia askeleita. (itsearviointi ja palautekeskustelu, vertaispalaute, mahdollisen työelämän ja ohjaajan palaute)
Toimeksiantajalle toimitetaan projektista ryhmätyönä syntyvä hyödynnettävä tuotos/ tuotokset.

The course is implemented flexibly as online studies. Studies include independent study and teamwork. The course utilizes digital and interactive tools. The student group agrees on how to implement teamwork. Group guidance supports task performance.
During the course, you plan a small-scale project related to the development needs of working life in the student team. Project planning proceeds in stages. During the stages, you will independently study the theory related to project activities, share your sectoral expertise and your sustainable development expertise in the student team. You use design support tools at different stages of the design work. As a result of the phased work, a project plan is created, which you present together with your student team.

The object of the course
During the course, you will acquire the skills to plan and implement work life development projects. Together with the student team, you apply the knowledge of your professional field, incl. Sustainable development skills and the competence acquired through InnoFlash and Entrepreneurship courses (customer-oriented innovation, design and solution methods, entrepreneurial approach) to diverse development processes in working life.

The learning objectives
After completing the course, you will be able to project work life development challenges and work on a project. You operate responsibly and customer-oriented in a diverse project team and networks. Through your interaction and the sharing of your own expertise, you promote the solution of working life development projects (including RDI projects). You apply sustainable development skills as well as innovation and project methods as part of development work.

The criteria for acceptable performance are:
Learning and information management competence
- You can acquire and apply knowledge and methods of sustainable development and your field in a working life development project.
- You can evaluate and develop your own skills and share your skills in the project team.
Entrepreneurship, innovation and working community competence
- You will be able to draw up a project plan for the implementation of a given development project, using project planning tools and applying your innovation and entrepreneurship skills and methods.
- You can implement and evaluate a working life development project and act as a member of a project team.
Internationalisation and communications competence
- You will be able to act responsibly as a member of a diverse project team.
- You can engage in a constructive dialogue with the project team and project stakeholder representatives.
- You can communicate in work-life interaction and communication situations and make appropriate use of different communication forms, channels and environments.

The assessment of the course consists of two parts
1) Project planning skills 3 cr (Moodle online course)
2) Implementation of a project in a diverse student group 7 cr

Demonstration of competence
1) Project planning skills 3 cr (online course)
- online exam
- an approved project plan produced by the team

2) Implementation of a project in a diverse student group 7 cr
Competence based assessment is based on:
a) To the portfolio and reflection (incl. reflection on one's own activities, peer feedback, possible working life and supervisor feedback)
In the portfolio, you will be able to justify the stages of project implementation and evaluate the tools and methods you use in the project and their suitability for solving the development challenge of working life.
You will be able to critically reflect on your project work, your own activities, your own role and define the next steps in developing your project skills. (self-assessment and feedback discussion, peer feedback, feedback from potential working life and mentor)
b) The usable output (s) of the project arising as a group work for the Client

Innoflash 2 cr, Entrepreneurship 3 cr or equivalent competences

You will choose the part of Project planning competence instead of TTC2070 Project Management and Practices 4 cr if you want to act in projects in which you develop digital solutions for working life.

Instead of the part of Implementation of a project in a diverse student group (7 cr), you can complete the courses Concept Lab (5 cr) or FF Ticorporate Demolab 1 (5 cr).

Teaching methods

Syksyllä 2021 FF projektin suunnittelu 3 op osuus on itsenäisesti toteutettava verkko-opintojakso. Aloitus 27.9.2021 alkavalla viikolla.

Keväällä 2022 FF projektin toteutus, 7 op.

3 op FF Projektin suunnittelu:

Opintojakso toteutetaan joustavasti verkko-opintoina. Opinnot sisältävä itsenäistä opiskelua ja tiimissä tapahtuvaa työskentelyä. Opintojaksolla hyödynnetään digitaalisia ja vuorovaikutteisia työvälineitä. Opiskelijaryhmä sopii tiimityöskentelyn toteutustavoista. Ryhmäohjaus tukee tehtävien tekemistä.
Opintojakson aikana suunnittelet opiskelijatiimissä työelämän kehitystarpeeseen liittyvän pienimuotoisen projektin. Projektin suunnittelu etenee vaiheittain. Vaiheiden aikana opiskelet itsenäisesti projektitoimintaan liittyvää teoriaa, jaat alakohtaista osaamistasi ja kestävän kehityksen osaamistasi opiskelijatiimissä. Käytät suunnittelutyön eri vaiheissa suunnittelua tukevia työkaluja. Vaiheistetun työskentelyn tuloksena syntyy projektisuunnitelma, jonka esittelet yhdessä opiskelijatiimisi kanssa.

Alternative completion methods

Vaihtoehtoisesti voit suorittaa opintojakson 3 op osasuorituksen Projektin suunnitteluosaaminen -Moodle verkkokurssin sijasta TTC 2070 Projektitoiminta ja käytänteet 4 op, jos haluat toimia projekteissa, joissa kehitetään työelämän digitaalisia ratkaisuja.
