Content

In the course, you will deepen in practical work assignments the knowledge you have learned in theory studies. The internships complement each other in such a way that the rehabilitation instructor's core competencies (assessment skills, counselling skills, service system skills and planning skills) will deep practice by practice.

During the course you will get acquainted with the basics of human anatomy and physiology by utilizing client cases and theoretical knowledge.

You know how to act in accordance with the ethical principles of the social and health care in different situations. You are familiar with the workplace safety and ergonomics guidelines and know how to follow them.

You will be able to describe the service systems related to your internship and tell the legislation related to activities in the internship. You can name the typical rehabilitation and service needs of the rehabilitees of your internship at the individual level and you can describe the overall situation of the case client using the ICF framework. You will recognize the different rehabilitation processes of the rehabilitees in your internship. You are familiar with the functioning assessment methods and documentation instructions used in your own internship.

You have worked in a variety of interaction situations and know how to name the key actors in a multi-professional team for your internship.
