Purpose of the course

You plan, implement and evaluate a safe client-centred treatment/service and guidance in gerontological nursing. You will deepen your gerontological knowledge considering the client's environment. You will utilise evidence-based nursing research in making decisions and take responsibilities for your actions in an effective, ethical and professional manner. You are motivated to work in nursing home environments responding to the client's physical, psychological, social and existing needs holistically.
