The Students will learn different Energy Sources, Production Methods and main parts of Power Stations including processing of Fuels and Water and also Turbin Technics.

Energy sources, fuels and their main features, different types of Power Stations like Combined Heat and power Generation, Hydropower, Windpower,Solar Power, Structure and Production Methods of Power Stations, Processing and Structure of Water and Condensing Water Systems, Turbin Technics.

Energy economy, Basics of Thermodynamics, Student understands basics of power technics and knows the structure of energy systems

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory (1-2): The student is familiar with the basic knowledge but in applying the essential knowledge the skills are inadequate; however, the student has mainly achieved the learning objectives of the course.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3-4): The student masters some of the concepts and methods and is able to apply them.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Very good (4-5): The student masters the essential knowledge and skills required to get the grade Good (3) and can apply the knowledge acquired in a critical and innovative manner to problem solving.
