Objective

You familiarize yourself with the tasks that are essential in your degree with guidance. At the same time, you learn to analyze areas for development in working life.

In the practical training, you familiarize yourself with the practical tasks that are focal for professional studies and develop skills for your future career. In addition, you learn general working life skills and gain experience to develop into a professional expert.

EUR-ACE: Multidisciplinary competences
Demonstrates awareness of the health, safety and legal issues and responsibilities of the application of technology, the social and environmental impacts of technical solutions, and commitment to professional ethics, responsibility and standards of the application of technology. Able to recognize the need for independent lifelong learning and is also able to commit to lifelong learning.

EUR-ACE: Engineering practice
Ability to choose and use appropriate equipment, tools and methods. Ability to combine theory and practice to solve technical problems. Understanding of applicable techniques and methods and their limitations.

EUR-ACE: Communication and team-working
Ability to effectively communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions within the engineering community

The specific content of the practical training depends on the work placement. In addition to professional competence, the core contents promote general working life skills as well as organizational and social skills.

Practical training plan, visit by the practical training tutor at the practical training venue, testimonial of employment, practical training report, feedback form, record of student's working hours.
