Objective

The object of the course:
The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with the core tasks in your future occupation, practice these tasks and become more certain in your professional direction. Practical training gives an opportunity to apply and develop gained skills and competences in work life.

Course competences:
Learning to learn: You assess and develop your competence and learning methods in different learning environments.
Operating in a workplace: You are able to work constructively in a work community and promote your own and your work community’s well-being.
Operating in a workplace: You utilize the opportunities offered by technology and digitalization in their work.
You are also able to act professionally in communication and interaction situations at a workplace.
Business skills: You understand the most important processes and functions in business

The learning objectives of the course:
You recognize vocational learning objectives based on your Personal Learning Plan and you are able to act responsibly as a member of work society. You can describe the changes and competence requirements of the operating environment.

You can evaluate and reflect your personal development based on your Personal Learning Goals, the objectives of the degree programme and the requirements of the organization's business. You can set further goals for the development of your competence in line with the career plan

Content

The practical training means that you learn and practice the key tasks of your future occupation at a real-life workplace. At the workplace you will gain deeper competence of your superpowers and develop as a professional in your field. You will also learn about being a member of the work community. After the practical training you are ready to apply for at least entry-level positions in working life.

Qualifications

Basic studies and approximately 60 credits of vocational studies. It is recommended that the training be
carried out at the end of the studies.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The assessment is based on learning objectives and quality, and self-evaluation by the student. The learning outcomes are assessed in relation to the objectives set in the Practical Training Agreement.
