Objective

Purpose of the Studies

The "Interaction and Facilitation" course module provides the basics for implementing internal communication within a company and acting as a facilitator in team and smaller workgroup workshops. You will learn what effective communication entails across different channels and meeting formats. You gain skills to develop your own interaction and facilitation abilities.

Skills Acquired in the Course Module

Learning to Learn: You learn to create communication practices in a changing work environment and to draft an internal communication strategy for the team company. After the course, you will be able to facilitate team ideation and lead joint learning sessions.
Learning in the Workplace: You learn to produce clear and regularly implemented communication within the company.
Ethics: You produce ethically appropriate content for the company's communication channels. You understand that communication should be honest, open, and fair.
Sustainable Development: You can produce responsible communication within the company, considering different employees. You ensure that every team company member is in an equal position regarding communication, and no one is left in the dark about collectively decided matters.
Learning Objectives of the Course Module

You learn to create common internal communication rules and a strategy for the team company, implemented together with other team entrepreneurs. You can identify your strengths and areas for improvement in interaction. You gain the ability to interact and communicate effectively in different meetings and projects within the team company. You learn to facilitate discussions and workshops. You can share your expertise within the team. You learn to reflect on your interaction skills through writing and dialogue with the team. You are capable of taking responsibility for your own learning and actions.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

You have sufficient evidence of understanding the theory related to the competency area and are able to apply the theory in practice in the projects and operations of the team enterprise. You understand the significance of different roles in the development of the company and develop the team enterprise in cooperation with others. You are able to create clear plans and set realistic goals from both an operational and skill development perspective. You have set concrete goals for the development of your competency area and have demonstrated the ability to direct your actions according to these goals.

You have implemented projects that reflect the application of competency area theory into practice. The projects demonstrate your ability to apply what you have learned and bring theoretical knowledge into practical action as part of a team. Additionally, you are able to evaluate the achievement of your goals and your learning process through reflections, identifying both your strengths and areas for improvement.
