Objective
You know the basics of accompany and key on guitar and chord marks of an acoustic guitar.
You know chord accompaniment, rhythm and keying styles, melody playing and traditional playing style/new playing methods and techniques with a five-string kantele. You know the basics of Kalevala singing and finnish music tradition and Pelimanni music.
You know the basics of percussion such as djembé and cajón and learn to apply them in your own teaching and when playing with a group.

The basics of acoustic guitar: the key rhythm and keying styles and chord marks of an acoustic guitar.
The basics of five--string kantele: chord accompaniment, rhythm and keying styles, melody playing and traditional playing style/new playing methods and techniques.. The basics of Kalevala singing and music tradition and Pelimanni music.
The basic techniques to play percussion such as djembé and cajón and learn to apply them creative.

Teaching methods
You will participate in contact teaching, which includes the basics of acoustic guitar , ukulele and five-string kantele playing, as well as basic djembé and cajón drum playing techniques and rhythm exercises.
You practice and perform the assigned tasks.
The course materials and assignments are in an online learning environment, where you can also submit all the assignments you have completed.
