Objective

Purpose of the course
You will familiarize with the key physical quantities related to agricultural technology. You will study inorganic and organic chemistry related to plant and animal nutrition.
The course provides basic skills in physics and chemistry for professional subjects.

Science and environmental competence: able to apply biology, mathematics, chemistry and physics to applied tasks in rural industries.

Learning outcomes
You know the key physical quantities of agricultural technology and you are able to calculate basic calculations in physics. You know the basics of inorganic and organic chemistry that are essential for plant and animal nutrition.

Content

Physical quantities: Velocity, acceleration, flow, force, pressure, moment, work, power, energy, efficiency

Basics of chemistry: Elements, chemical compounds, reaction equations, nutritions (proteins carbonhydrates, fats), plant nutrients, acidity and alkalinity. Chemicals and chemical solutions.

You know the key physics quantities and are able to calculate simple calculations in physics related to agricultural technology. You know some concepts of chemistry related to plant cultivation and animal husbandry.

Satisfactory 2
You know and understand the key quantities in physics and are able to calculate calculations in physics related to agricultural technology. You understand the concepts of chemistry related to plant production and animal husbandry.

Good 3
You understand the key physics quantities and are able to apply them in physics calculations related to agricultural technology. You understand and are able to apply chemistry in plant cultivation and animal husbandry.

You are able to apply and analyze quantities in physics and apply them in calculations in physics related to agricultural technology. You are able to apply and analyse chemistry related to plant cultivation and animal husbandry.
