Teaching methods

Teaching and learning methods used in the course include webinars (including a multidisciplinary case day with health students), face-to-face teaching at school, independent work, group work (design and implementation of a method video) and a written learning task in pairs.

Both webinars and face-to-face teaching at school are interactive learning situations and you will be prepared for them according to the instructions given in advance. To participate in webinars, you need a working camera, headphones and a microphone.

Alternative completion methods

You can apply for admission with previous equivalent higher education studies (content/objectives/extent), or with at least one year (12 months) of work experience in child welfare work that is relevant to the content and objectives of the course. Discuss your competences with your tutor and, if necessary, submit an e-application at least two weeks before the start of the course.

The course will be assessed by a group video assignment, watching videos produced by others and giving peer feedback (approved-fail) and a written learning assignment (0-5).
