Objective

The student is able to examine and conceptualise emerging working life development needs. He/she is able to obtain and evaluate domestic and international research data. He/she is able to analyse a phenomenon and to engage in argumentation on research outcomes. He/she is able to analyse the working practices and to develop alternative evidence-based methods for improving working methods. He/she is able to design plans for implementation of evidence-based practices.

Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the NQF/EQF, level 7.

The student has the ability to examine research data critically and to conceptualize emerging development challenges in working life. The student knows what evidence-based work is in his/her area of expertise. He/she has an ability to follow and analyse the development of research data and professional practice. He/she understands issues related to knowledge in the field and to interfaces between different fields and examines these and new information in a critical manner. The student is able to find information in databases and to read international scientific articles. He/she is able to superficially describe obstacles to and factors promoting the implementation of evidence-based activities in his/her work community. In self-assessment, expresses his/her capacity for lifelong learning and continuous development in the theme areas of the course. Demonstrates communication and linguistic skills required in working life through reporting on and presenting his/her assignments during the course and through using foreign language sources.

Is able to report on the course assignments internationally.

If the student does not meet the minimum criteria set for the course, the grade is 0 (Fail).
