Objectives

You understand what the new and emerging technologies in the rehabilitation are and how these technologies blend into rehabilitation process. You can compare how different technologies transform and renew the rehabilitation processes and work in different fields of rehabilitation. You can critically evaluate the pros and cons of different solutions by considering individual needs of different people. You know how to do specification of requirement and know what to take into account when planning acquisition of new digital rehabilitation solutions and services. You can use and implement various solutions and forms of digital rehabilitation.

Evaluation criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

0 (fail)
You are not able to name any new technologies. You haven’t participated in the lessons or conversations in any way. You haven’t submitted the assignments asked and/or your assignment have indications of plagiarims

1 (sufficient level)
You can name one or two new technologies but your ability to justify the use of different technologies is limited. Your ability to evaluate the usability and feasibility of the digital solution is very limited. Your written assignments contain some information about the new and emerging technologies and the applications of them in rehabilitation. You know what specific of requirements are and you have some idea what to take into account when planning some specific acquisitions. You have used some theoretical knowledge in your assignment(s). You have participated occasionally and a little in conversations in online environment and/or lessons

2 (satisfactory level)
You can name a few new technologies but your ability to justify the use of different technologies is limited. Your ability to evaluate the usability and feasibility of the digital solution is limited. You can name one or two benefits and/or limitations of some digital rehabilitation solutions. You know what specific of requirements are and you can list few key issues to take into account when planning acquisitions. You demonstrate modest capabilities to describe the subjects of the course and you have used a few sources in your assignments. You have participated occasionally in conversations in an online environment and/or lessons

Evaluation criteria, good (3-4)

3 (good level)
You can describe various kinds of new technologies. You can apply at least two different methods for evaluating the usability and feasibility of the digital solution. You can name a few benefits and limitations of digital rehabilitation solutions. You are able to justify your decision by using appropriate source material and evidence-based practice. You can participate the planning of specific of requirements and you can tell what to take into account when planning acquisitions. Your written assignments demonstrate a well-structured knowledge of the theoretical basis and practical implications of various technologies. You have participated usually in conversations both in an online learning environment and lessons.

4 (very good)
You can describe and compare various kinds of new technologies considering the needs of different clients. You can apply and justify different methods for evaluating the usability and feasibility of the digital solutions. You are able to describe some pros and cons of different solutions. You are able to justify your decisions by using various source material and evidence-based practice. You can actively participate the work of preparing specific of requirements and you can describe in detail what to take into account when planning different kind of acquisitions. Your written assignments demonstrate well-structured knowledge of the theoretical basis and offer realistic practical implications of various technologies. You can describe and explain in detail various kinds of new and emerging technologies and their implication to the rehabilitation processes. You can apply various methods for assessment of usability and feasibility of the digital solutions, and you justify your solutions by using diverse reference material. You are able to differentiate the pros and cons of different solutions and consider the use cases by considering the needs of different clients. You are able to justify your decision by using critically various kinds of source material and evidence-based knowledge. You can actively participate the preparation of specific requirement and you can evaluate different kind of possibilities critically when you are planning acquisitions. The written assignment demonstrates diverse and well-structured knowledge of theoretical basis, and you can produce new and realistic practical implication of various technologies. You have participated actively in conversations both in online learning environment and lessons and you have offered new kind of perspectives to the conversation.
