Objective

The aim of the course is to examine the legal aspects of service production and administration through up-to-date legislation in different contexts.

Content

The main content of the course includes the legal framework governing client work and service production in welfare areas, purchaser-provider model, good administrative practice and specific legal issues related to client work from both the purchaser's and the producer's perspectives. The rights and equality of the client are also examined, as well as the implementation of legal safeguards from both the client's and the worker's point of view.

Sufficient level (1)
You understand the basic legal principles of service provision and management in your context and apply them narrowly to legal issues in social and health services. You understand the principles of the public-private partnership of services and the administrative procedure for the production and management of services. You will recognise the principles and working methods of long-term service partnership at a basic level. Evaluate the legal aspects of service production in a client-oriented and ethically sustainable way. You know the principles of good governance.

Satisfactory level (2)
You apply the legal principles of service provision and management in your context and limit your analysis to selected legal issues in social and health services. You understand and can apply the principles of the principles of the public-private partnership of services and of the administrative procedure for the production and management of services. Identify and understand the key principles of the administrative procedure for the production and management of services. Identify and apply the principles and working methods of long-term service partnership in the context of the tasks. Evaluate and apply the legal aspects of service production in a client-oriented and ethically sustainable manner. Understand and apply the principles of good governance.

You analyse the legal basis of service provision and management in your context and limit your analysis to selected legal issues in social and health services, giving reasons for your analysis. You are familiar with the principles of the public-private partnership of services and the administrative procedure for the production and management of services and are able to apply and analyse them. You will analyse the main principles of the administrative procedure for the production and management of services. Identify, apply and analyse the principles and working methods of long-term service partnership in the context of the assignment. You will be able to act in accordance with the principles of good governance. You will analyse the legal aspects of service provision in a client-oriented and ethically sound manner.

Very good (4)
You will understand and apply the legal principles of service provision and management in your context and limit your analysis to selected legal issues in social and health services, giving reasons. You will master the basics of the principles of the public-private partnership of services and of the administrative procedure for the production and management of services, and be able to apply and analyse them. You will analyse and articulate the key principles of the administrative procedure for the production and management of services. Evaluate the principles and working practices of long-term service partnership. Analyse and evaluate the legal aspects of service production in a client-oriented and ethically sustainable way. You can act in accordance with the principles of good governance and justify your actions.

In addition to the above, you demonstrate considerable legal understanding and are able to apply the law in your work in a versatile manner. You will critically evaluate, follow and analyse research in social and health administration and decision-making and the current debate on social and health policy. You will be able to synthesise information and present reasoned perspectives on legal issues related to service production and administration. You will be able to act in accordance with the principles of good governance and justify your actions.
