Objective

The object of the course
After completing this course, you will learn why and how to protect your business interests, assets, image, and intellectual property with legal tools. You can manage risks arising from legal liabilities and understand the procedures of disputes in international sport business environment. You understand the activities of an athlete manager and the agreements related to it. The ethical code of conduct in sport will be highlighted including sustainable decision-making.

Operating in Workplace Competence: You are result-oriented and able to overcome obstacles at the workplace.

Sport Business Management Competence: You apply innovative and sustainable solutions to sport business management problems and utilize business intelligence data in decision-making.

The learning objectives of the course
Upon completion of the course, you recognize the liability of equal treatment of people. You are familiar with how to overcome legal conflicts to protect your business. You show some justified and innovative solutions for managerial problems and use of business intelligence.

Content

Legal content of this course will range from sources of law, choice of law, contract law, employment contract law, dispute resolution, international treaties, trademarks, image rights and naming rights will be covered. Integrity in sports, corruption and anti-doping activities will be highlighted.

You can define some of the key concepts and terms and are able to recognize typical legal conflicts in sport business. You address the legal liability of equal treatment of people. You are familiar with key concepts and terms and can recognize typical legal conflicts in sport business. You understand the legal liability of equal treatment of people and attempt to promote discrimination in your business.
