- evaluates and develops in a goal-oriented manner their expertise by means of continuous learning
- assumes responsibility for their own goal-oriented learning and that of their community as well as competence sharing

The student
- is capable of working as a developer of working life in demanding expert and managerial positions or as an entrepreneur
- develops and creates new operations that are customer-driven, sustainable and financially profitable, with due account taken of the foreseen changes in the operating environment

- develops the operation and occupational well-being of the work communities.

The student understands the life cycle of a construction project and is able to assess the impact of its different stages on the construction indicators. The student understands the new contract types and understands how to utilise them in the building project in cooperation, risk management, delegation of responsibilities and life cycle management.

The student masters broad and highly specialised concepts, methods and knowledge that correspond to the management competence of their field. The student manages matters, people and networks and develops new strategic approaches. The student participates in and manages activities that affect society based on ethical and ecological values in a digitalising environment.

The student is able to use different development methods in research and development projects. The student is able to critically assess research data and existing working life practices. The student is able to produce new information that develops working life and renew operating methods by combining competences from different fields.

The student is aware of the road map for low-carbon construction and understands the legislation that guides the environmental friendliness of construction. The student is able to use the tools and indicators of circular economy and construction.
