Objective
The purpose of the course is to increase understanding of the principles of health promotion. In addition, it is intended that participants will understand meaning of systematic planning and evaluation for population level health promotion actions, as well as the importance as part of the health promotion activities of public, private and non-governmental organizations.

The student is able to describe the health promotion models and approaches to individuals, communities, organizations and local authorities in the development of health promotion, coordination, planning and evaluation. The student identifies contents of health promotion expertise.
