Objective

The students have acquired a thorough- going view or the changings undergone by the music field. They have an idea of the field's development perspectives and of the suitability of their own skills viewed in this light. They have a thorough view of the entrepreneurship potentials in music and related fields.

The students are able to see the marketing potential of their skills and of how their know-how can be implemented profitably in a consumer-oriented manner. They are able to communicate clearly and fluently orally and in writing making use of knowledge and informatics.

The students know the available enterprise studies and services and find out about the possibilities offered therein. The students have the readiness to continue enterprise studies and the necessary basic knowledge to launch their own business. They work responsibly as individuals and as members of a group and are able to keep up the contacts to work-life.

Content

In the music field:
The compatibility of their own know-how profile with the changes in the activity environment, and their perspectives.

Entrepreneurship:
The marketing of their own abilities as entrepreneurs in the music field (case study). The creation and acquaintance of work-life associations between JAMK and other business studies and services

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass(S)
The students show that they are able to marketing their own skills: they have at least one consumer-oriented product/business idea which is profitable and compatible with the developmente perspectives prevalent in the music-field.

The students participated in the course's projects and group-work in a responsible manner conducive to a positive influence in the work's success. The students communicate clearly and fluently. They are able to profit from knowledge and informatics in a way suitable to the purpose.

The students fail to achieve the minimum requirements necessary for passing.
