Objective

The student is familiar with the technical documentation practices and can manage CAD drawing basics. The student has an understanding of the CAD design methods and the ability to apply them to the core studies.

EA-EE Engineering
The student is able to read already drawn documents and can produce some technical documentation. The student is able to produce and edit CAD drawings as well as to understand the importance of revisions, and programming in the field of technical documentation.

TSAST: Electricity and other basic skills
The student has basic skills of technical documentation and CAD drawing, including basic drawing, basic editing, layers, blocks, and reference images.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Adequate (1): The student identifies the basic knowledge and terminology of technical documentation but in the interpreting of the essential concepts the skills are still inadequate.

Satisfactory (2): The student is familiar with the basic knowledge and terminology of technical documentation but in the application of the essential concepts the skills are still inadequate.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3): The student:
- knows the issues to be taken into consideration in technical documentation
- is able to draw technical documentation using CAD software and understands practices of the technical documentation
- is able to use CAD software for basic drawing and basic editing, can also use layers and reference images
- is able to design CAD blocks and some CAD programming

Very good (4): The student masters the essential knowledge of technical documentation and can apply the knowledge.

Excellent (5): The student masters the essential knowledge of technical documentation and can apply the knowledge acquired in a creative and innovative manner.
